Twitter Account Suspended, World Record Broken [Update]

UPDATE: My Twitter account was suspended in error. I was very satisfied with the way Twitter dealt with it. They didn't let me know what the error was about but they did get it back up in 3 days. That's what matters most in this case.

Last October, I captured the world record for Most Tweets in a Row with All 26 Letters of the Alphabet. Tonight I found out just how far I've slipped since that glorious day.

It may seem stupid to hold a record in something like Twitter, but for me it was perfect. I wrote some code that helped me write my tweets. It was one of the very first things I wrote in Python. It took my tweet as input and spit back at me the number of characters and which, if any, letters were missing. I went back and wrote the tweets by hand, trying not to cheat by making them too fantastical.

It was this nice moment, where my copywriting and programming skills really worked together to do something interesting.

"Well, get back out there and win your record back!" you're thinking. No such luck. My Twitter account is suspended now. And I can't even complain about it on Twitter. My Twitter widget's just sitting over there blank, rubbing it in my face. Rough night.
